GRINDBOARD

Year: 2026 · Material: Aluminum

A provocative hybrid object positioned between functional skateboarding equipment and kitchen tool design.

GRINDBOARD is an aluminum skateboard featuring authentic grater perforations across its entire surface, allowing it to function both as a skateboard and as a cheese grater. The upper side includes an embossed “GRIND” lettering, custom LCD logo bolts and personalized wheels carrying dedicated graphic markings.

Designed to intentionally create discussion and discomfort, the project questions the boundary between functionality, irony and absurdity within contemporary product design. GRINDBOARD transforms two completely incompatible objects into a single controversial collectible piece.
